Partner Terms

For cafés, bars and other places that put up a Complimee poster. When you apply, you agree to these terms on behalf of your venue.

About these terms

These terms are an agreement between Gourhit Ventures Private Limited (CIN U62011DL2026PTC470554), 808B, DLF Prime Tower, Pocket F, Okhla Phase I, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi, Delhi 110020, India (“we”, “us”), and the venue you apply for, together with you, the person applying (“you”).

You agree to them when you apply in Complimee for venues. Our Terms of Service also apply to your account, and our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Who can apply

You confirm that:

  • you’re 18 or older and allowed to act for the venue;
  • the venue is a real place open to the public, and the details you give (name, address, map pin, contact) are accurate;
  • the venue operates lawfully.

Applying and approval

We review every application, and we may ask for changes, decline it, or approve it at our discretion. We may check the details you give us, for example by calling the venue. When we approve a venue, it gets its own code and goes live in the app.

Your poster and code

  • Use your poster and code only at your venue, where guests can see them.
  • Don’t change the QR code, the code or the poster’s design, except by adding your own logo through Complimee for venues.
  • Take the poster down if you stop taking part or the venue closes.
  • We may change or deactivate a code, for example if it’s misused. If that happens, we’ll ask you to print a new poster.

What guests see

People using Complimee at your venue see its name, area and city, and the spots you set up (like “By the window”). You let us show these in the app while your venue is live. You can change the spots anytime. To change the name or address, write to us.

You confirm that you have the right to use the logo or photo you upload. You give us a licence to store it and use it on your poster. It’s stored privately, so only you can see it, and we don’t show it anywhere else without asking you.

Your guests’ privacy

Complimee is anonymous by design. You’ll never receive any information about your guests, not names, not looks, not even how many there are. You agree:

  • not to try to identify people using Complimee at your venue;
  • not to pressure anyone to use it;
  • not to present Complimee as your own service, or suggest we endorse your venue.

Fees

Taking part is free while we launch in your city. If we ever introduce fees, we’ll tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you can stop before they apply.

Ending things

  • You can stop anytime. Take the poster down and tell us if you want your venue removed from the app. Deleting your account deletes your applications and logos. A venue that’s already live stays live until you ask us to remove it.
  • We may pause or remove a venue if these terms are broken, if the venue closes or misleads guests, if it’s needed to keep people safe, or if we stop offering Complimee in your area. Where we can, we’ll tell you first.

Liability

We provide Complimee for venues and the poster “as is”. As far as the law allows, we don’t promise any number of guests or any business result, and our total liability to you is limited to INR 5,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

Changes, law and contact

When we change these terms, we update the date and version at the top, and we’ll tell you before a change that matters takes effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction.
